Service Advisor

Position: Service Advisor
Location: Dudley, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time

At Archie & Sons Diesel Repair, we believe that the key to exceptional customer service starts with the right Service Advisor. We are looking for a customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate technical information to our valued customers. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on vehicle status, service recommendations, and pricing.
Manage the scheduling of repair and maintenance appointments, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
Clearly communicate vehicle issues and repair needs to customers in a way they can understand.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient repair timelines.
Prepare detailed repair orders and estimates, gaining customer approval for services.
Maintain customer records and manage follow-ups to ensure repeat business and customer retention.
Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

Qualifications:

Experience as a service advisor in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to understand and explain complex technical issues to non-technical customers.
Familiarity with Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and shop management software is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
